:: About David HoppeDavid Hoppe is a writer, editor and cultural strategist, living in Long Beach, Indiana.
Hoppe received a BA in English from Macalester College in St. Paul, MN, MA in Library Science from the University of Minnesota, and MFA in Creative Writing from Bennington College in Bennington, VT. He has lived in Minnesota, northern California, Great Britain and, since 1980, Indiana. Hoppe has worked as a cataloger for a fine and rare book auction house, a public librarian, cultural administrator and programmer, advertising writer, journalist and critic. He has also been a frequent collaborator with his wife, choreographer Melli Hoppe, creating sound designs for a number of her performance pieces.
